Community & Education

SOOGA stays actively engaged in community and education in many ways.  SOOGA provides informational sessions and training courses for our members throughout the year, such as our Annual Tax Seminar and SOOGA Trade Show, and also provides educational information to the community by attending public educational events as well as through our Energy Insights program on WMOA Radio.  

SOOGA also provides research grants, scholarships, and donates to many organizations throughout the year.  SOOGA’s Paul Fulton Research Fund has awarded numerous Marietta College students with research grants and award monies over the years.  The SOOGA Legacy Fund has also provided a means for our members to make donations in memory of a loved one, which in turns get used to benefit our community and those in need.
